1.
Crow 02:04
Crow flying overhead Can you relay a message to the dead ones watching me? I know your times have come and gone But you are loved and you are strong You are endless and abounding Surrounding me Crow crying on my balcony Go forth with no delaying to the place I know is next The land where all must go to rest I won't bemoan that I am blessed I am one and I am none I am everything Crow lying in the garden Don't let your spirit harden for I'm counting on you
2.
Hummingbird 01:35
Where are you going? Where have you been? Why are you in such a rush? Stop and taste the flowers! Flowers! My heart is beating fast Just like the heart of the hummingbird Outside my window What a marvel Yesterday seems so far away Just like the sweet little hummingbird Who visited me through the window today
3.
Sparrow 01:49
Little sparrow straight and narrow Fly on! Fly on! I've gathered all my fears Take them far away from here Little sparrow like an arrow Fly on! Fly on! Wherever you may go You will make me feel at home Little sparrow on the wheelbarrow Fly on! Fly on! When you sing I wanna dance You're giving me a second chance Hollow bones Calming tones Feels like home Feels like home

about

On May 11th, 2020 I was visited by three birds. First a crow, who looked as if they needed to relay some sort of message to or from the beyond, then a hummingbird, which I found quite marvelous and gawked at for a brief moment, and lastly a sparrow, whose care free nature made me feel at ease in these uncertain times. This year made me feel aimless for a variety of reasons, however seeing these birds from the comfort of my desk chair gave me a purpose for an entire afternoon. Thanks to the three of you and I hope you're doing well.
